Steve received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008 from Idaho State University. Upon graduation, he moved with his family to southern Nevada. Shortly after moving, he opened his first clinic in 2009 in Pahrump, Nevada. Because of the excellent care provided at Affiliated Physical Therapy, the company quickly grew to become the largest in Nye County. After years of providing outstanding outpatient therapy treatments, Steve has transitioned into the CEO position. While occasionally treating and interacting with our great patients, he is now "pushing around papers instead of pushing around muscles and bones." Affiliated Therapy and Optimal Therapy joined forces in July of 2019. This union brought about a few changes, such as our name, "Optimal Therapy an Affiliated Company" (OPT). Joining together has brought even more opportunities. Steve, with his growth team in place, plans to keep the momentum going by opening new clinics. He is so excited to lead such an incredible team of experts and to see where his next steps will take him and his company.

Tarra was born and raised in Blanding, Utah, a small town in the four corners area. She grew up hunting, fishing, hiking, riding horses and farming as family hobbies. All things outdoors! Tarra worked full time while putting herself through college attending Southern Utah University, Utah Valley University, Brigham Young University and finally achieving her dual bachelor degrees in Business Management and Business Administration at the University of Phoenix. Tarra was blessed to meet and marry her one and only, Kapua, during her time at Brigham Young University. They have four children: 2 boys and 2 girls. As a family they do anything that is considered a “sport” together, even dance which has been highly debated as a “sport” in their household. Family and church involvement is her everything!

Dr. Christensen values training and education and has several contracts with surrounding colleges and universities to provide clinical educational opportunities to future therapists such as PT’s, PTA’s,OT’s, COTA’s, and Athletic Trainers. In 2017, Dr. Christensen began helping with the Nye County School District, consulting school employees/staff, parents, and directly treating students with various gross motor impairments throughout Nye County. Dr. Christensen has become certified in Dry Needling, McKenzie Method, Kinesio Taping. He is also trained in high velocity low-amplitude thrust manipulation of the cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and SI joints. His clinical skills/experience include: wound care, home health services, orthopedic conditions, neurological impairments, vestibular/balance, cardio-pulmonary, and workers’ compensation/FCE cases. Dr. Dave Christensen has worked with Optimal/Affiliated Therapy since July of 2012 and enjoys working with a wide array of patients with various ailments. His interest in rehabilitation started at an early age as he enjoyed sports and was injured several times including broken bones, muscle strains, and knee surgery that introduced him to the wonderful world of physical therapy. Because of his time dealing with injuries and several bouts of rehab, Dr. Christensen is able to empathize with his patients and provide some unique insight. Dr. Christensen is blissfully married to his high-school sweet-heart Elsha and they are blessed to have 4 children in their home: 3 boys and 1 girl. As a family they enjoy church, scouting, sports, photography, theme parks, video games, being involved in the community, and various outdoor activities. Robert is trained in different manual techniques, including IASTM and cupping, and has experience working with a wide variety of injuries and disabilities. Robert is also trained to work with children that have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and he collaborates closely with a physician in Las Vegas that also specializes in working with children that have this condition. Robert was married in Gilbert, AZ in 2014 and has two boys, James and Landon, who keep him very busy. Robert enjoys playing basketball, cheering on the Rebels basketball team, and spending time with his wife, Melissa, and family.

She lived and raised her family in Kaysville, Utah for 25 years before moving to the Las Vegas area in 2019 when she joined the Optimal Therapy Team. When not working you can find Natalie cheering on her 4 boys in their activities or exploring the world and planning her next adventure.

She enjoys all things to do with the outdoors - including but not limited to hunting, fishing, and RZR rides. Hailey is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine in performance enhancement and corrective exercise. In her spare time, she coaches recreational and competitive gymnastics.

Before coming to Optimal Therapy, Jennifer worked as a translator for 5 years at Hope of Life International in Guatemala. There she obtained her degree as a bilingual accountant. She is a proud mom to 2 amazing boys, who enjoys singing and Korean BBQ.

With her exceptional attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of insurance procedures, Jhena ensures that patients can focus on their health, knowing that their administrative needs are expertly taken care of. She goes above and beyond to ensure that our patients' insurance-related concerns are addressed promptly and accurately. In her free time she enjoys binge watching series and trying new foods..
