We offer pre-operative and post-operative therapy, as well as non-operative therapy for injuries caused by work, trauma, or overuse. Dave Christensen

Dave Christensen is one of our Doctors of Physical Therapy and our Clinical/Leadership Development Director. Dave grew up on a potato farm in Southern Idaho and learned the value of physical therapy at a young age after being injured several times including broken bones, muscle strains, and knee surgery. Because of his time dealing with injuries and several bouts of rehab, Dave is able to empathize with his patients and provide some unique insight. Dave values training and education and not only has many certifications himself, but also facilitates several contracts with surrounding colleges and universities to provide clinical educational opportunities to future therapists.

"Dave Christensen was the first therapist we hired. A couple of years after we started, I started calling Dave to see if he'd come down and check out Pahrump. When he finished school he came down and we were able to convince him to come and join our small team. At that time we had one from desk technician and a PTA. Dave is very personable and relates well with people. Dave's current position as a regional manager has many roles one of them is being a teammate advocate. He always brings a positive light-hearted full of fun attitude. I've enjoyed working with Dave for many years and hope to continue that from many more."

I went to Optimal Therapy due to losing part of my finger and it was so bad I could not look at it, had little mobility with it and no self confidence....the staff and I mean ENTIRE STAFF really do care and in a period of five weeks of doing one hour rehabilitation 2 to 3 times week, well they got my life back....they will push you in a positive way to do what you think is impossible. Matt and his team gave me the motivation both verbal and physical to the point I could overcome the situation!! Very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. They always got me in early or right on time. Would remember my name and what my workout was. They just makes anyone feel good. Equipment , bathrooms and office were super clean. I have already recommended they to others needing their services.

My son was referred here for physical therapy after being diagnosed with AMPS. They are wonderful! All of them! Lauren at the front desk is an absolute gem! She is friendly and very helpful! Percy put my son at ease and they bonded instantly. The initial evaluation was very thorough and we left with a game plan set. Since my son started attending PT here he has been able to be more active and he looks forward to his weekly appointments. Facility is clean and Percy is thorough in what he explains and advises. Will only use this place from now on for our PT needs.
