Matt
Clinic Director/Doctor of Occupational Therapy
Matt was born and raised in Las Vegas with deep family ties to the area. He moved to Boulder City in April 2020 with his wife and two young sons. Matthew received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from UNLV in December 2015.
In June 2020, he earned his Doctorate degree in occupational therapy from A.T. Still University along with the scholarship award. His doctoral capstone and research project focused on trauma among first responders. Before entering the field of occupational therapy, he worked with adolescents with developmental disabilities in both a group home and school setting. Matthew fell in love with occupational therapy because of its unique lens on viewing and treating various disabilities and conditions. Occupational therapy allows him to work with individuals to become more independent with activities that they need or want to do. Matthew enjoys going camping, fishing, biking, and snowboarding. Matthew is also a big nerd and enjoys playing board and card games with his friends and family.
